"Electrolyzed⚡️ Reduced Water💧" (ERW) is the name of this water most often used in scientific studies.
When you go to PubMed or to Google Scholar and you do a search for "electrolyzed reduced water", you'll see a myriad of scientific studies showing the results of the water.

Kangen Water... (aka electrolyzed reduced water (ERW), or hydrogen water) begins as tap water. The Enagic machine filters out chlorine and other impurities from the tap water, then separates the hydrogen and oxygen with a process known as electrolysis. This process adds an electron to the hydrogen creating a new molecule called diatomic molecular hydrogen gas. When this is added to your drinking water, it produces antioxidant-rich Kangen Water.
Oxidant, by definition, is an oxidizing agent, while antioxidant is any substance that acts to slow or prevent the oxidation of another chemical.
In the human body, oxidative damage has been implicated in many of our modern day diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Antioxidants, on the other hand, act to tame the free radicals (or highly reactive chemicals) in the body that have potential to harm cells and cause disease.
In a scientific study by the National Institute of Health, it was discovered:
"The consumption of hydrogen rich water for 8 weeks resulted in a 39% increase (p<0.05) in antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and a 43% decrease (p< 0.05) in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) in urine. Further, subjects demonstrated an 8% increase in high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and a 13% decrease in total cholesterol/HDL cholesterol from baseline to 4 weeks."
What does this mean?
According to this study, those who drank hydrogen-rich water showed a substantial increase in their antioxidant enzymes and a massive decrease in acid in the urine. Further, participants showed a significant increase in HDL the "good cholesterol," and a significant decrease in the "bad cholesterol."

What are the differences?
SD501 has an Antioxidant / Anti-Inflammatory (-ORP) potential of negative -850.
The higher the negative number, the MORE potent the water is, the MORE antioxidant or anti-inflammatory the water is.
SD501 Platinum is exactly the same as SD501 except it has a stainless steel appearance, talks in 5 languages, and is just a tiny bit more compact. It also has the same antioxidant / anti-inflammatory potential of -850.
Super 501 makes the waters twice as fast at about 2 gallons a minute. Comes in handy if you have a lot of animals you want to drink the water, a farm, a large restaurant, hotel, hospital, etc. Waters are the same strengths as the SD501 with a negative -ORP of -850 as well. The difference is this model is twice as big, creates the waters faster.
K8 produces a slightly stronger water than the other SD501 models with a negative -ORP of -900.
The K8 has 8 electrode plates. The SD501 has 7 electrode plates.
For example, 9 glasses of water from the SD501 is about equal to the same amount of antioxidants in 8 glasses of water from the K8. So you really can't go wrong with either the SD501 (white/black, platinum or Super) or the K8.
